Pasting Text Without Formatting

Overview

When you copy text from a web page or a Word document, it might include hidden formatting like font styles, sizes, or colors. If pasted directly into your mind map, this formatting can affect how the text appears and integrates with your map's style. To ensure the text matches your mind map’s design, paste without formatting.

How to Paste Without Formatting

For Windows Users:

  1. Copy the text from the source (web page, Word document, etc.).
  2. In your mind map, right-click and select "Paste as plain text".

For Mac Users:

  1. Copy the text from the source.
  2. In your mind map, right-click and select "Paste and Match Style".

This ensures that only the text is pasted, adapting to the existing style of your mind map.

Tip: If these options aren't available, consider pasting the text into a plain text editor (like Notepad or TextEdit) first to strip the formatting, then copy it again and paste it into your mind map.
